:: The agora was part bazaar, part town hall, part public square – where people talked life, business, trends & religion. “Agora spaces” develop intentionally in the circles & scenes of our lives ::


:: Many of these thoughts were born out of the experience of church planting, in Rochester, NY. It began with growing questions. Are there people for whom established forms of church aren’t the place to explore faith, but are actually obstacles & barriers? What if you were to strip down some of these forms, not out of condemnation, but out of the belief that the good news of Jesus must endlessly expand and ask who else needs to hear and how can we speak to them? What if there were other ways? These questions became the start of The Agora Community – a network of missional communities that sought to live authentically & intentionally in the “agora spaces” of our lives ::
